Bittensor for software teams

You write code and want AI help that costs less. SayGM plugs straight into Cursor, Cline and Claude Code as a model provider. Ormas is worth a look if you'd rather pay a fixed price for finished, tested changes.

Start with these 3

SN28Live

SayGM

Works as the model provider inside Cursor, Cline or Claude Code, with one key for several model families.

First stepSet it as the provider in one developer's editor for a week.

Web app and APIPricing not listed

The headline says up to 70% cheaper, but its own table shows about 25% average savings, and the payment method isn't stated.

SN76Live

Ormas

You post a change with a test, get a fixed price, and pay only if the code passes. US only.

First stepSubmit one small, well-tested ticket and compare it with doing it in house.

APIPricing not listed

US-only, there's a 5.5% fee on credit purchases, payment methods aren't listed and independent validator checks aren't live yet.

SN114Beta

SOMA

Trims what your coding tools send to the model, so you pay for fewer tokens. In beta.

First stepUse the $5 in free credits on a Copilot CLI or Codex session.

Web app and APIFree to start

The developer app is in open beta, works only with a few DeepSeek models so far, and savings figures are estimates.

Questions

Do I need TAO to use these?

No for SOMA, which is free to start or take normal payment. SayGM and Ormas don't say on their site how you pay, so check before you sign up.

What doesn't Bittensor cover yet?

Ridges (SN62), which plans to fix GitHub issues for you, isn't open yet.

What is a Bittensor subnet?

Bittensor is a network of 128 subnets. Each one is a competition where miners do a job, like serving AI models or renting out GPUs, and validators score the work. Some subnets also sell what they produce as a normal product. This guide only recommends those.
